MATERIAL
Our Joe Sweats have been made using a new spinning technology: Core Spun. This spinning method creates extra elasticity and strength. The yarn’s core is made up of polyamide, wrapped entirely in extra soft Merino wool. This makes the Joe Sweat collection sturdy but stretchy, without affecting wearing comfort.
Spec: Innovative core spun Merino wool (87 % merino wool, 13% polyamide).

PROPERTIES OF MERINO WOOL
TEMPERATURE-REGULATING
Unlike synthetics, Merino wool fibres are active fibres that respond to changes in your body temperature. So when you’re cold, wool keeps you warm and it keeps you cool when you’re warm.
ANTIBACTERIAL
Merino wool is naturally antibacterial, which means less sweat on your body. Merino wool even absorbs sweat’s odour molecules, which are released only upon washing. No sweat, no stink. Stay fresh!
BREATHABLE
Merino wool is one of the most breathable fibres that can absorb large quantities of moisture vapour and then let it evaporate. No clingy clothes again, you keep cool and dry.
SOFT ON YOUR SKIN
The Merino wool fibres used by Joe (18.5 micron) are extremely fine and much more flexible than traditional, coarser, wool fibres. That is why Merino wool feels so soft and sumptuous on your skin. Definitely not scratchy!
COLOUR FAST
Merino wool will not fade. Guaranteed. Black will always be black, blue will always be blue, green will always be green, red will always be red. Well, you get it. For ever and ever.
MAINTENANCE
EASY TO REFRESH
Thanks to Merino wool’s antibacterial qualities, you don’t have to wash your Joe very often. Just air your Joe outside for a night, and he will be ready for wear the next day!
HOW TO WASH
Still, we recommend washing your Joe every now and then.
You can do this simply and easily on the wool wash cycle in the washing machine (30° maximum, spin cycle no more than 600 rpm.).
